615/2/14 Tavern - Crowded tavern. All the regulars including Ollis, Perni and HHR Huffnpuff. Several local villagers and a few adventuring groups; The Norse Whisperers, The Bastards of Bogtown and The Outriders of Ulek.

Lowson, Kudo and Sora have not had a chance to drink from the magical (stat enahancing) pools in the Barrowmaze (room#84) yet. They know it’s risky with the small group but decide that’s the plan for tomorrow.

615/2/15 - The Barrowmaze

The group enters the maze through mound #16.

They first head to Mitra’s Shrine for a blessing. On their way they encounter 5 zombies and defeat them.

After they head to the room of pools and each drinks.

Afterwards they decide to break down the brick wall in the hallway outside the pool room (between #83 and #85)

They first setup the door that Jason had previous torn down and hurled at the giant beetles as a barrier between room #82 and the hallway (#83).

Vilithra attacks the brick wall with a maul.

The noise attracts 6 Mongrel men. They approach from the door to the south (hall #83).

Kudo takes up a secure position on the opposite side of the barrier they created with the broken door and proves to be effective with his crossbow.

The fight goes poorly for the mongrel men. The party hears them debating if they should flee but it seems they’re more afraid of Nathias and what he’ll do to them if they run.

Near the end of the fight Lowson and Sora get a bit braver and step deeper into the fray.

The decision ends up being fatal for Sora and nearly so for Lowson.

With Sora down they administer the salve from the healing cup but it fails to resuscitate Sora.

They choose not to risk entering the newly opened space beyond the brick wall.

They carry Sora’s body out of the maze and return to the Barrowkeep.
